On the 25th January 2019, the Smart Grid & Power Electronics Consortium of Singapore (SPECS) co-organized with the Renewable Energy Integrator Demonstrator of Singapore (REIDS) a workshop for members of both programs.
Members were invited to a special session that talked about the future of grids. The session not only covered technological insights but also the latest on-goings in the energy business. We were delighted to have SPECS members such as IESVE and NUS to present at the session on energy storage systems and Grid 2.0. Members of both programs were then treated to a lunch networking event where they mingled with one another to exchange ideas and discuss possible business collaborations. It was certainly a productive day of sharing and creating new ideas for the upcoming energy industry.
