Eurostars is a funding programme open to SMEs, large companies, research organisations and universities.
The Eureka Eurostars programme supports international R&D and collaborative innovation projects. Companies from Singapore and any other Eureka member country are welcome to participate and collaborate with organisations of all types – from SMEs and large companies, to research organisations and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) – in leading and emerging markets.
The programme is open to projects from all sectors, as long as it results in a new product or solution. Project consortiums must include at least one company from Singapore and another Eureka country.

The call for applications is open from 2 September 2021 to 4 November 2021, 2100h GMT+8.
Who can apply Singapore companies must form a consortium with at least one organisation from another Eurostars member country. The consortium must cooperate on a new product, process, or solution that can be rapidly commercialised in global markets with a civilian purpose. No participant should be responsible for more than 70% of the project budget. Singapore companies must meet the eligibility criteria for the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) in order to apply. For non-Singaporean companies, they should consult with their respective funding bodies on their eligibility.
How to apply
1. The consortium should jointly submit their joint proposal via the online submission tool by 4 November 2021, 2100h GMT+8.
2. Separately, each project partner may be required to submit a funding application form to their respective funding bodies. Singapore companies will be required to submit a separate application, which you can commence here. Companies will also be required to attach their latest ACRA Bizfile with the form.
3. Thereafter, eligible applicants will be notified and an officer in-charge will be in touch on the next steps.
