The Smart Grid Power Electronics Consortium of Singapore (SPECS) is helping to bring companies and institutes of higher learning (IHL) to network and share knowledge together.

On the 23rd of August, SPECS in collaboration with the Technology Development Center of Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Central, co-organized a workshop for SPECS consortium members.
The workshop featured presentations from Singapore's polytechnics: Ngee Ann, Singapore, Nanyang, and Temasek Polytechnic. The IHLs introduced their latest energy technologies to members and engaged them in a lively discussion about the technology use cases and how they could be applied to their business and development needs.
Rounding up the day was a tour of the ITE Technology Development Center where members could see the testing facilities available that could help to meet their development needs. Overall, it was a meaningful day for SPECS members to learn about new technologies and facilities.
